- Here's my situation:
-
- A recent offer came in, requiring about 1000 modems. Such modems must be
- approved for usage in the UK and Germany, as the customer has locations in
- both countries. We might need sepparate modems for each country. I can't
- say for sure because I have never left the United States, so I'm not
- entirely certain on overseas hook-up situations and line power. Also, the
- modems must be v.34. Sorry, v.Everything won't cut it as v.Fast is illegal
- in Europe.
-
- Anyways, just when you thought it was going to be easy(I know several
- external modem vendors who could do it), the customer is DEMANDING and
- REQUIRING internal PC modems.
-
- My request to you news readers: If you know of any company or companies
- that make modems that match these specifications, please reply to this
- e-mail, or send e-mail to my business e-mail address: chris@lanets.com.
-
- I would prefer if there is one company that makes modems for both the UK
- and Germany, but if you only know of one or another, please send that
- information too.
-
- Thank you very much for your time. I appreciate any information you can
- offer me.
